Eggplants love to explore making different nut milk, and it's about time to do some mix and match!

Which one will become your favorite?

Chocolate Almond Milk or Black Sesame Milk? 巧克力杏仁/黑胡麻?

Eggplants like both. Both are very nutritious and good for our skin.

P.S. reusing juice bottles here ;)

Did you know...

Almond is a good source of vitamin E, vitamin E is a powerful fat-soluble vitamin and antioxidant that helps to protect cell membranes throughout the body against damages caused by free radicals.

Sesame seeds are the excellent source of manganese, copper, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, vitamin B1, zinc, molybdenum, selenium, and dietary fiber. Magnesium involves in over 400 enzyme systems, and it is the most predominant mineral within our cells. Sesame seeds also contain sesamin and sesamolin, the abundant lignans found in sesame oil; they have been demonstrated to prevent high blood pressure, increase vitamin E supplies and possess a cholesterol-lowering effect in humans.

Black sesame seeds do have a slightly bitter taste, which we love.Black Sesame Milk Recipe
Preparation:
1. Soak black sesame seeds in filtered water  for about 2-4 hours , i found that if i soak them for too long they would have strong bitter taste (in ratio 1:2 ; 1 cup of black sesame seeds : 2 cups of filtered water ; add pinch of Himalayan salt)
2. Drain the black sesame seeds from the soaking water, rinse them thoroughly to get rid of the physic acid and enzyme inhibitors. *(if you prefer the toasted flavor, heat the sesame with a wok, until dry , or you can buy toasted black sesame)

Ingredients:
-Black Sesame Seeds (drained)
-3 -3.5 cups of filtered water (depends on how thick u like it )
-Optional ingredients (sweeteners):
-4 dates  or 2 tbs of honey/maple syrup
-1 tsp vanilla powder

1. Put everything into a blender, blend until smooth
2. strain through a nut milk bag , squeeze and press to extract all the milk
